Recently, Hirsch’s Milnerton hosted their monthly Ladies Networking morning where guest speaker, Cindy Pivacic, spoke to the audience about Public Relations and Media for entrepreneurs. “Cindy is a public speaker, author, trainer, HIV activist, radio presenter and founder of PR Ninja,” commented Hirsch’s Public Relation’s Officer, Kerryn Porter. “She is such a fantastic person and gave us a lot of advise and tips on how to really market your brand and business.”
“There are many roles of Public Relation’s,” added Cindy. “The first one is to build the brand – get into the news and speak at industry events. Show the world what your company is made of!The second one you need to do is massage your message – be concise in your pitch and what your company does to media. Thirdly, generate those leads and lastly, be your own comms command centre – when major news strikes, the public must know!”
