Hirsch’s Homestore, together with the Rotary Club of Blouberg rounded off Women’s Month with a bang with a ladies lunch in the Hirsch’s Milnerton branch.
Margaret Hirsch, COO of Hirsch’s and an honorary Rotary member, hot on the heels from her Rotary mission in Angola, revved up the ladies with a motivational talk! “Know that you are enough. You are perfect as you are,” said Margaret.
High altitude mountaineer, Remy Kloos, was the guest speaker for the morning taking the ladies on a journey by speaking on how she gets to the top and how she uses her high altitude adventures as a vehicle to raise funds for and inspire the next generation through her #JustClimb initiative and the Dlala Nje Foundation.
If that wasn’t enough to take in, local comedienne, Mel Jones, had the room in stitches with her fine-tuned humour. The morning ended with lucky draws, and one lucky lady walking away with a Dyson V10 cordless vacuum cleaner worth over ten thousand rand. Philipps hair irons and dryers were given away and a Whirlpool microwave – just to name a few of the prizes!
