Local entrepreneurs recently gathered at Hirsch’s Strubens Valley for their first monthly women in business networking event. Commented Marjone Barnard, the PRO for the Branch “Our speaker for the morning was Nigel Willmott who spoke to the attendees about the basics of JSE.” Nigel, who is the Principal of Momentum Consult Clearwater, has served the financial services industry for over twenty five years.
“Nigel started the session by explaining the process of how to invest in the JSE. He then touched on subjects such as; the six decades of inflation-beating returns on the JSE, hindsight lessons to take into 2020 and what the key investment success factors are. The crowd was very excited to grow their knowledge on the subject and asked numerous questions after Nigel ended the session.” Said Marjone.
To end the morning, networkers were given the opportunity to showcase their products and introduce themselves and their businesses. This was followed by a lucky draw, networking, sharing of business cards and enjoying refreshments.
