Recently Hirsch’s Springfield Park hosted their monthly ladies network meeting where Woman in Business meet together to network, share business ideas and motivate one another in business. The speaker for the morning was fashionista, Jeanie Nel, who shared her story on how to be successful in business. “Ladies one of the most important things in business is networking and growing your network. You have to attend the meetings and work at it and you will see results,” said Jeanie Nell. Jeanie was also awarded the Margaret Hirsch Woman in Business Achiever award for the month for her business Hatz by Jeanie. She trains ladies on how to make hats and was proud to announce to the audience that one of her hats was recently worn at the SONA meeting and televised.
Jeanie started her business in 2007 but fully committed to it full time in 2013. It has grown from strength to strength with her work being featured on runways, in the theatre, parliament and the various horse races throughout South Africa.
