I scream, you scream, we all scream for Coffee Hazelnut Ice Cream! Summer and the holidays are soon approaching and what better way to cool off than our collective fave… Ice-cream? This crave-worthy recipe combines two of the things we love the most, coffee and ice-cream. Simple to assemble, vegan and sure to satisfy your sweet-tooth. This recipe was made using the Delonghi La Specialista Coffee Machine. You’re sure to impress friends and family with this, poolside after a braai or home alone on a hot day, we don’t judge. Coffee Hazelnut Ice Cream for the win!
Ingredients
400ml coconut cream
1/2 cup hazelnut or cashew butter
3/4 cup golden syrup/honey/agave
1 espresso shot
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Toppings
Cacao nibs
Chocolate chips
Coffee syrup
1/2 cup syrup/honey
1 small espresso shot
Method
1. Blend all or the ice cream ingredients together, pour in to your ice cream machine or in ice
cream moulds.
2. Once in container or in moulds, add cacao nibs and chocolate chips on top. Add a few
dollops of the coffee syrup and swirl.
3. Place in the freezer until set, remove add more coffee syrup and enjoy!
