Zaynab Paruk brings her cooking magic to Hirsch’s Springfield and there were prizes too!
If you walked into Hirsch’s Springfield on Saturday morning and wondered where that delicious smell was coming from… we have the answer!
The store was buzzing as food lovers gathered for a morning of cooking, kitchen inspiration and plenty of flavour with influencer, chef and content creator Zaynab Paruk.
And what was on the menu? Chocolate profiteroles because life is always better with chocolate along with crispy garlic butter wedges served with chimichurri mayo. Yum!
Samsung Cooking Technology in Action
Zaynab cooked up a storm using the latest Samsung cooking range, giving guests the opportunity to see the appliances in action rather than simply hearing about their features.
The Samsung 90cm Inox Gas Hob and Samsung 60cm Black Smart Dual Cook Multifunction Oven took centre stage as Zaynab demonstrated how clever kitchen technology can help home cooks create delicious dishes with confidence.
There were plenty of tips and tricks shared along the way, making the morning just as useful as it was tasty.
Prizes, Goodies and Plenty of Fun
Of course, Hirsch’s knows how to add a little extra excitement to an event!
Samsung sponsored an incredible microwave giveaway, which was won by Candice Meth, who also happened to be the runner-up in MasterChef South Africa 2026.
There were also Samsung goodie bags up for grabs, but guests had to pay attention. Those who correctly answered questions during the event walked away with some fantastic Samsung goodies.
Crystal from Hirsch’s Springfield, who coordinated the event, summed up the spirit of the morning perfectly:
“It’s about more than appliances it’s about creating experiences that inspire people in their homes.”
And that’s exactly what Hirsch’s events are all about. It’s not simply about seeing the latest appliances. It’s about seeing them in action, meeting people, learning something new, tasting something delicious and having a little fun along the way.
With Zaynab Paruk in the kitchen, Samsung technology on show and profiteroles doing their best to disappear from the table, Hirsch’s Springfield certainly had all the ingredients for a fantastic morning!
