When Margaret Hirsch was approached by Sister Mpume Nhleko, the Principal at Nardini Convent in Vryheid, to help raise money for their much needed mini bus, she jumped at the chance of helping this extremely well run little convent, tucked away in a leafy street in Vryheid.
She approached LG to see if they could help out with a raffle prize for the fund raiser, and they agreed to donate a 55 “ Smart TV as a prize. Needless to say the fund raising evening that was held on September 23 at Nardini was a great success raising over 100 thousand rand with a large portion of the proceeds going towards the mini bus.
Winning the LG TV was lucky Cebisile Maphisa. Who was truly delighted with her prize!
