Terms & Conditions

Entrants must fill out a form online or enter in-store.

There is a two-week claiming period from the winner announcement date. Should the winner fail to claim within that period, the prize will be awarded to the runner-up and so on.

Winners who fail to respond to communications via call or email, regarding the win, within 48hours automatically forfeit the prize. The prize will then be awarded to the runner up.

The competition is only open to entrants residing within South African borders.

Terms and Conditions:

  • All persons (“Participants”) entering the Defy Rewards platform (“Promotion”) agree that the Promotion rules, as set out in these Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), shall apply and are binding on them.
  • TLC Marketing Worldwide (Pty) Ltd (“TLC”) and Defy Appliances (Pty) Ltd are collectively referred to as the “Promoters” in respect of the Promotion for purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
  • The campaign commences on 19 April 2021 and ends at midnight (12am) on 18th July 2021, all days inclusive.
  • A total of 8,000 rewards are available for the duration of the campaign

 

Nature of the Rewards

  • These Terms and Conditions cover the rewards that we source for you from our partners. The Promoters of these rewards are Defy Appliances (Pty) Ltd a private company duly incorporated in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa with its registered address at 135 Teakwood Rd, Jacobs, Durban, 4052 and TLC Marketing Worldwide Proprietary, a private company duly incorporated in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa with its registered address at 1st Floor, Block F; 150 Linden Road, Strathavon, Sandton, 2196 (“TLC”).
  • By accessing these rewards, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and you consent to us sharing your personal data with affiliates (means, in relation to TLC Marketing Worldwide, any entity Controlling, Controlled by or under common Control with TLC Marketing Worldwide from time to time) and suppliers for purposes of this reward. These Terms and Conditions apply in addition to the Terms and Conditions applicable to Defy Rewards. If there is a conflict between the Terms and Conditions applicable to the account or service and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions will apply insofar as the rewards are concerned.

 

Qualifying criteria

  • Participant is a permanent resident and/or citizen of the Republic of South Africa.

How to redeem your Defy Rewards:

Each qualifying customer will be eligible to receive the 90 day money back guarantee if they change
their minds about the purchase within 90 days of purchase of the eligible appliance. The 90 day time
frame commences from the date of purchase.
The original purchase receipt of the Product must be retained and supplied by the Purchaser upon
request. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse the refund if the original purchase receipt of the
Product cannot be provided by the Purchaser.
All original packaging, manuals and accessories sold as part of the Product must be kept and returned
with the appliance in order for the consumer to receive their money back.
The refund will only include purchase price and excludes any other costs related with transportation,
installation and additional warranties. Once approved the refund will take place within 24-48 hours.
Standard wear and tear during the first 90 days is acceptable and it will be at the sole discretion of Defy
to evaluate the wear and tear on the unit.
