The Hirsch’s home store branch in Ballito recently held their last monthly ladies networking and women in business morning event for the year, in conjunction with the Ilembe Chamber, with local female business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs getting together to mingle and network with each other.
Hirsch’s own leading lady, Chief Operations Officer – Margaret Hirsch who has become a champion of women empowerment over the years, was the guest speaker for the morning, providing an inspiring talk that left the ladies feeling motivated and ready to end off the year with a bang!
“You have to grab what you want in life, no one is just going to give it to you, it takes hard work and doing it for yourself.” said Margaret.
“You can make all your dreams come true, but you need passion, hard work, focus and the drive to persist until you get to where you want to be – and then when you get there, do that little bit more that will make a huge difference.”
Adding to the excitement of the morning, Ilembe chamber women in business chairperson, Lauren Abdo , announced the Ilembe Chamber Margaret Hirsch Woman in Business Achiever finalist for the month, Joyce Ncanana owner of Just Meats a butchery that services the north coast best known for its product quality and value added braai service offered to customers. In 2014, Joyce was the winner of the Ilembe Chamber Entrepreneur competition.
