Hirsch’s Silverlakes recently invited Semon Elliott, owner of two successful businesses that focus on empowering people, to talk about how to perfect their 30-second elevator pitch for networking events
Commented Tsz Yan Lau, Hirsch’s PRO, “Semon’s talk was so interesting! For example, she mentioned there were different types of 30-second pitches. One is called ‘the personalizer’ where they babble more about their personal being than business. She said that one could avoid this by pausing and swaying the speech back to being business-related”
Everyone then got to practice their 30-second pitch and the event ended with a lucky draw.
