Hirsch’s Somerset West recently hosted their very first entrepreneur’s workshop in conjunction with Action coach. Joint Chairman of the Hirsch Group, Margaret Hirsch teamed up with Lindie Malan from Action coach to give not only inspiration and motivation but incredible insight into what’s needed to become a success in business.
Hirsch’s and ActionCOACH have rolled out Entrepreneurs Workshops in KZN and Gauteng over the last 12 months and this is the first year that these informative, inspirational monthly workshops are being held in Somerset West. Commented Glenda Thompson, the PR Consultant for the Hirsch Group who conceptualized the events: “These workshops give participants the opportunity to interact with the speakers, discussing issues that may be troubling them in their own businesses. They are also held to help fledgling entrepreneurs and people interested in starting up their own businesses to get them off the ground.”
Margaret explained that one of the most important ways to start off the year was to set goals. Starting with the day ahead, then putting a vision board in place – for the year ahead, the next five years and even ten years from now. She said that running your own business meant making sacrifices and using time wisely. She explained where Hirsch’s began and how certain characteristics such as will power and the ability to invest in yourself greatly increase your chances of success. Lindie explained the importance of an ACTION plan and how it allows you to have a roadmap to success.
