Looking for something healthy yet delicious, try this Baked Line Fish With Chilli, Lime And Thyme recipe. This dish is so easy to put together and is super light. The fish can be cooked in your oven and even an air fryer all you need to do is adjust the cooking time.
Ingredients for The Baked Line Fish With Chilli, Lime And Thyme
- 800g of White fish or approximately 200g per person
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves crushed
- 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 tsp fresh thyme
- 1 tsp Chilli flakes
- salt and pepper to taste
- Thinly chopped roasting vegetables
Combine the butter, lime, garlic, chilli and Thyme in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant then remove from the heat and set aside to cool slightly.
Place the fish and vegetables onto the lined baking pan then season with salt, pepper and extra thyme.
Pour the lemon butter sauce over the fish and vegetables and top the fish with lime slices (optional).
Place in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the fish and vegetables are cooked. The fish is cooked when it flakes easily and the flesh is white throughout. If using an air fryer cook the fish for 7-9 minutes.
