Thousands of runners, cheering supporters and plenty of energy made the Waterfall City Marathon a morning to remember!
On 12 September 2026, runners came together for the Waterfall City Marathon. The event was a fantastic celebration of fitness, fun and community spirit.
Hirsch’s Waterfall was proud to be part of the action too.
Keeping Runners Refreshed
The Hirsch’s Waterpoint was set up close to the Hirsch’s Waterfall store. It gave runners a welcome place to grab some water and recharge.
The Hirsch’s team was also there to cheer runners on. There were plenty of smiles, high-fives and words of encouragement throughout the morning.
However, the day was about much more than handing out water.
Bringing the Energy with Fat Cats Athletic Club
The Fat Cats Athletic Club joined Hirsch’s at the waterpoint. They brought even more energy and excitement to the day.
As runners passed, the team cheered them on and encouraged them to keep going. As a result, the waterpoint quickly became a lively part of the race route.
The marathon welcomed runners of all ages and abilities. Some were experienced athletes, while others were taking on a personal challenge.
Above all, everyone shared the same determination to reach the finish line.
Celebrating the 21km Race
Meanwhile, there was plenty of excitement around the 21km race.
George Kusche took the men’s title after a fantastic performance. His achievement added another special moment to an already exciting morning.
Throughout the event, runners showed incredible determination and enthusiasm. Supporters along the route helped keep the energy high too.
Proud to Be Part of the Waterfall Community
For Hirsch’s Waterfall, the marathon was a great opportunity to connect with the local community.
Supporting events like these allows our team to get involved beyond the store. It also gives us the chance to celebrate the people who make our communities special.
Overall, the morning was filled with movement, motivation and plenty of smiles. Waterfall City, Fat Cats Athletic Club and Hirsch’s all helped bring the energy.
